Emeralds, mmmmm...Cash

Welcome back to a new post on my blog! This week, cops in Los Angeles found an 850-pound emerald. They must have used a crane to take it. The emerald is worth 370 million dollars. Dang, that must be enough to buy 100 Lamborghini s! Now the emerald is at the center of an argument over who owns it! The judge who decides to own it believes it belongs to a person in Las Vegas who kept it in a vault for safe keeping. Then the vault was opened by a stranger and the stranger stole the emerald.
Picture: That must be pretty big for an emerald these days.

Voted Worst Vice President!

Hey people! Gotta' new posting for you to see. Polls show that 23% of people in the U.S. think VP Dick Cheney is the worst VP ever. 41% thought he was a poor VP, but not the worst, and 34% thought he was a good number two. In my opinion, I think he sucks and I agree with the 23% percent of people who think he is the worst. Cheney has a lot of fans from Republicans, but most of the independents and democrats think he is "poor" or "worst ever".

Breakin' In

Have you ever imagined a robber breaking in your house and taking your stuff? Well, for Paris Hilton, that dream is reality for her. This week, someone broke into her house and stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry. You have to wonder how much jewelry she had. Anyway, Hilton was not there at the time of the robbery mission. She was at a dancing club dancing with friends at the time. Hope that what happened to Paris Hilton wouldn't happen to us!

Japan Earthquake

The ground under you starts shaking. Things around start crashing down. Sounds like an Earthquake, huh? In Japan, a 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck 90 miles of the east coast of Japan. Most be pretty devastating, right? Wrong! There were no reports of damage in Japan. Good thing the focus was 90 miles out!

Shoecide-Bomber

Watch out, the "shoes" of mass destruction landed on who? Why, on Bush, of course. This week, while Bush was giving a speech with the Iraqi prime minister, a journalist stepped forward and chucked both of his shoes at Bush. Bush ducked the first shoe, and the prime minister blocked the second. I got to admit, that was a pretty good dodge. Anyway, the journalist, aka shoecide-bomber, did this, because he hates the foreign influence in Iraq. The journalist could be facing up to 2 years in prison for attacking a foreign leader.

Picture: Gotta love flying shoes. Good thing it wasn't a high heel!
